Anwar Hasan Abdullah Othman

Anwar Hasan Abdullah Othman is currently an assistant professor and deputy dean for Research and Innovation at the Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIiBF). Previously he was a Post-Doctorate Researcher at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He had his Ph.D from IIUM in 2015. Prior to joining IIiBF, he was a lecturer at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), senior trainer at Geomatika University College, Trainer at the British Academy Center for Training and Development (Kuala Lumpur) and finance manager for International Communication Academy (ICA) at Kuala Lumpur. He was also a lecturer at Lincoln University Collage – Malaysia. In addition, he has also worked as a finance manager at Al-Rwaishan Investment & Development Co. Ltd, Sana’a-Yemen. His research focuses on monetary policy, cryptocurrency, micro and macroeconomic policies, assets pricing, unit trust funds industry, banking industry and Asian stocks markets. He has participated in many local, global conferences and world economic forums on business, economic, finance and social sciences. He has strong skills in data analysis using different statistical models and software.
