Abdul Zahir Ahmadi was born in Kunduz, Afghanistan. He gragduated from Shirhan High School and later graduated from the Finance and Banking Department of Kunduz University. Mr. Ahmadi completed his master's degree at Sakarya University's Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance. Ahmadi, who deals with the subject of "Applicability of Takaful in Afghanistan" in his thesis, also he published paper in the following field. Currently, he works as a research assistant at ILKE Foundation's Research Center for Islamic Economics (IKAM).
